HOME > OUR WORK > NUTRITION > ROLE OF RED MEAT > HOW IS OUR MEAT PRODUCED?

Red meat is a grass-fed, natural product.

In New Zealand we are nourished by quality grass-fed beef and lamb produced for us by Kiwi families who take great pride in what they do. Beef and lamb raised on pasture, such as in New Zealand, are natural and are considered by nutrition guidelines as core, whole foods. For good health, an emphasis on a diet that is made up of mainly whole, natural foods is encouraged.

New Zealand pasture-raised beef and lamb is farmed following high animal welfare practices, is growth hormone free, free of genetic-modification and has the lowest antibiotic usage globally.
