MEDIA RELEASES

Beef + Lamb New Zealand Inc have managed the Golden Lamb Awards and Steak of Origin competition on behalf of Beef + Lamb New Zealand Ltd since the inception of each with B+LNZ Ltd as the predominant funder. During the last six months, B+LNZ Ltd has been consulting with farmers, and reviewing its strategy and revenue streams out to 2022. As part of a strategic review, B+LNZ Ltd has decided not to continue funding the Glammies and will significantly reduce funding the 2018 Steak of Origin competition. Click here to see a letter from Sam McIvor, CEO of B+LNZ Ltd which further explains the decision.

As a team, it has been our absolute pleasure to be involved in these two fantastic events, working alongside the many farmers, processors, sponsors, breed associations and suppliers who have helped to make them the success they have been. We, along with Beef + Lamb New Zealand Ltd, extend our sincere thanks for your involvement and support over the years.

If you have any questions please don't hesitate to contact Rod Slater, CEO, Beef + Lamb New Zealand Inc on 09 489 7119, 021 940 442 or email rod@beeflambnz.co.nzor Sam McIvor on 021 828 170 or email sam.mcivor@beeflambnz.com
